A Bit About Me
From the time I was little, I dreamed of becoming a doctor. One of my earliest memories is from Kindergarten career day, when I proudly wore a toy stethoscope and carried a small black doctor’s bag. That day, I told my classmates I would be a pediatrician.
While studying at Vanderbilt University, a friend encouraged me to take an introduction to neuroscience course, and I was instantly hooked. I stayed at Vanderbilt for medical school, where my fascination with the brain only grew. Blending my love for children with my passion for the brain led me to the field of pediatric neurosurgery.

Today, I feel privileged to do what I love—caring for children, supporting families, and operating on the most intricate organ in the body.
I found that I have the hands of a surgeon, but the heart of a pediatrician.

Outside the hospital, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending quality time with my husband and our two daughters.
